I’m Maria Patiño, a Colombian American multimedia artist based in Miami, Florida.
I create illustrations, paintings, and artist’s books, as well as stories using collage and mixed media. By blending traditional and digital techniques, I bring my ideas to life through warm, imaginative visuals filled with kindness, whimsy, and curiosity. Growing up surrounded by nature, mountains, and vibrant storytelling traditions, I developed a love for creativity and the natural world. The rich colors and textures of my childhood memories continue to inspire and guide my work, which draws on my experiences, travels, and the joy of storytelling.
